Even though I read in some web sites that this phone will not operate
with a Memory Duo Chip greater than 2GB, I read here that some user had
no problems. My w810i (Cingular) worked well with this 4GB card. I am
getting 3.82GB of usable space!

Two things:

1) Make sure you have the latest firmware on your phone, available
from the Sony Ericsson's web site. They have a down-loadable program
which will guide you through all the steps to accomplish this.

2) I formatted my new 4GB card on my Sony desktop, which has a
Memory Stick reader (you'll need the adapter which comes with the new
card). Just to be sure, I started by copying to the new card all the
files in the old card which came with the phone, and done!
